May's gathering is a little different and a little more delicious.
We're doing a Blind Date with a Book exchange. Here's how it works: before you arrive, wrap a book you love (or one that wrecked you, changed you, made you laugh until something came out of your nose lol). Tuck in a handwritten note that tells us why it's a must-read, who it's for, and the vibe it carries. When we gather, we'll read the notes aloud and let everyone decide if they're brave enough to take it home. It's part gift, part game, entirely good.
We'll also make a little time to discuss Chasing Evil by John Edward — a true crime read that goes to some dark places and you also end up in some wild (and cool) discoveries. TW: rape and murder. NOTE: You do not need to have read it to join us for the exchange, come for the books and the wine, stay for whatever feels right.
What to bring:
One wrapped book + a handwritten note about why someone needs it in their life. Keep it a mystery on the outside, that's the whole point.
